Welcome to our Wedding site!

We became friends the moment we met in high school. We remained friends for eight years before our relationship blossomed into something different and incredible. Living 1,500 miles apart, we stayed connected using various high-tech gadgetry, and we enjoyed rare and precious time together during visits. A year later, we are here in Katy and ready to start the next chapter in our lives as a married couple.
We sat down with our family and together we wrote this poem as an expression of our undying love, and as a testament of how we know we are meant for each other.

David and Christie were meant for each other.
Meant for each other, yet so much more.
Planned for each other, MADE for each other.
Separated by half a continent, yet still drawn to each other.
Airwaves, circuits and invisible highways made us inseparable.
Divided by time, we re-discovered each other.
Love’s inescapable gravity held us in each other’s orbit.
Held steadily, cosmically by each other’s irresistible force.
Two bodies, one body. Two shadows, one shadow.
David and Christie, Edward and Bella, Romeo and Juliet.
Providence, Destiny, Fate. Linked by forces we cannot see.
Romance, Humor, Trust. Magical potions that bonded us.
Separate and apart. Different and alike. One in the same.
Raucous or tranquil. Restive or contented. We remain steadily one in the same.
There is nowhere either of us could be if not with each other.
There are no forces capable of pulling us apart.
There is no power so great that could ever divide the one into two.
We exist for each other, so we truly, truly are meant for each other.
